The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: It is kind of like a teeter-totter but it has 3 peices that move up and down and 22-25 kids are allowed to play on it. If one falls off, they may not be able to get out of the way for this thing that keeps moving up and down, like my daughter

On August 19th, 2010, the second day of school, my 9-yr old daughter was playing right at the start of recess and ended up getting KILLED! She was playing on a new peice of equipment called the X-Wave and when she was at the highest point she fell off, almost right under it. As she tried to get up this heavy peice of equipment came down and hit her on the head with enough force to kill her almost. She didn’t even have a chance to get out of the way of this very dangerous peice of equipment before it came down and hit her, killing her. School was her most favorite thing and she ended up being killed there. I just don’t want this happening to another child and family.
