The product, in the report: QUIKRETE 50-lbs Play Sand , sand for outdoor sandboxes

I built a sandbox for kids and bought QUIKRETE 50-lbs Play Sand bags to fill it up. The reason I’m contacting You is that I believe there is a significant amount of cement present in this sand ! Here is how I observed this: 1. when i dumped the sand there was a lot of dust 2. after I moistened the sand it smelled like concrete 3. when I mixed the water and the sand with my bare hands first I observed slimy feel and a few minutes later my hands turned red with dry “grandma looking like” skin and the hands stayed dry for hours after washing them.

I worked with cement before and I know the symptoms when cement comes in touch with skin and based on my experience I believe the presence of cement in this sand must be significant. My concern is that this sand with cement present can be harmful specially for kids, skinburns might occur and I think it might also be harmful for respiratory or digest system.
