Hurt, no treatment Made Sep 27, 2012, sent to the company Oct 5, 2012, published by CPSC Oct 29, 2012
The product, in the report: It is a Little Tykes Ship playground http://www.cityofcarrollton.com/Modules/ShowDocument.aspx?documentid=4361. Here is a picture of the place where the injury took place.
I was visiting a park in with two preschool children when I noticed a girl with a deaf mother playing. She was climbing on the outside of the Little Tykes Ship Playground put her foot through the molded plastic fence and got her knee stuck. I climbed up on a small wall near her and got underneath her to lift her up so she wouldn’t slip and fall. I proceeded to lift her body up so she could get it out when I realized she was really stuck! It was so wedged in I almost had to call emergency services to get her loose. When I lifted her high enough she was able to straighten her leg off while I removed her shoe so she could get her leg out. I saw her mother lift her pant leg up and she had a big indent on her knee. If I had not been there I don’t know what would have happened.
