The product, in the report: Toddler 2 playground for toddlers provides preschool and daycare children a wide range of play activities in a compact design. The perfect toddler playground, it features three interactive gizmos for auditory play that enhances fine motor skills, “Launch Point” that encourages positive risk-taking and a fun Scooter Slide. Stairs are enclosed with distinctive fish scale design for a fun, tactile entryway to this playground for toddlers. This toddler playground has multiple color options. Toddler 2 has been a favorite playground for toddlers for years.

The unsafe product is the Toddler 2 playground in the Kidtime by Gametime product line. On May 4, 2016 at 3PM my son was playing on this playground at his daycare facility. Upon reaching the top platform of the playground, he placed his hands down. Once he placed his hands down, the platform began burning his hands. His left palm was severly burned and his right palm was slightly burned. It was 82 degrees and sunny on this day.

Gametime markets its products to be in conformance with CPSCs Publication #325. The material on this playground became so hot that it caused a severe 1st degree burn on my son’s hands. He is now suffering through much pain and anxiety as the skin sloughs off of his hands and exposes his bare flesh.
