The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Jul 30, 2026, sent to the company Aug 4, 2026, published by CPSC Aug 18, 2026

The product, in the report: FitRx Adjustable Dumbbells, 52.5lb SmartBell Dumbbell Set with Quick-Select Weights for Home Gym

When I went to pull out the weights from the base one of the weights dropped out onto my foot. I was able to click it back in place but then it did it again. It was the same weight each time so I ended up not using those higher weight options to play it safe but then another one dropped out as well. I have stopped using the weight system due to trust issues with the weights staying clicked in.

The product, in the report: Tzumi Model 9429 5 lb. to 25 lb. adjustable smartbell

Using this smartbell the weight fell off and almost hit my foot. The weights will not lock onto the bar as they are supposed to. It is unsafe and the larger model has already been recalled. This model poses the same risks.
