The product, in the report: Bow flex select tech 1090 dumbbells

    Bowflex aka Nautilus

I use frequently but never have abused the Select Tech 1090 dumbbells. 2 days ago I started my work out and when I did nothing more than lift it against gravity the largest plate fell out. I checked to see if there was something wrong with the stand and the locking mechanism etc. I paid over 500 dollars for these so yes I am angry. But I thought this could hurt someone if it happens again. I called the Bowflex consumer number and explained what happened. They tried to sell me another plate and also a pullup station? I read up on other products they have and it seems this is an issue before me. I can see the weight coming down on someone’s head and incapacitating them. Fortunately mine simply fell to the floor.
