The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: The Smith bar is getting stuck during use and appears to be misaligned. When lifting heavier weights the bar frequently sticks, which creates a serious safety concern and appears to be a manufacturing defect. The equipment also has very strong chemical fumes.
The equipment has manufacturing defects. Some attachments do not fit properly and the Smith bar movement is rough and inconsistent. Because this equipment is used for heavy lifting, this creates a safety concern and health risk. In addition, the equipment has paint coating defects and strong chemical odor during use. I am concerned about possible toxic coating exposure in a home environment.
