The product, in the report: Pool UV light
Consumer is reporting that his 5 foot UV light exploded which shattered and became a projectile into the neighbor’s yard and in surrounding areas. He had a roof over the fence he had built for the pool and it blew off the roof. Fortunately the fence was well built or the damages would have been severe. He contacted the pool contractor and he came out and examined the incident, he was refunded the amount for the UV light.
Consumer stated that the UV light and the salt cell together may have caused the explosion.
Consumer feels that this UV light is a safety hazard and should be reported.
