The product, in the report: Pool Steps/Ladder
The consumer says that the pool steps cracked under normal use. He says that it is made of a plastic resin. The bottom two steps are screwed together with the top two set of stairs. The middle section is where the product cracks under normal use. This could pose a serious injury.
Underneath the stairs is a plastic tray where a 50lb bag of sand was placed to hold the stairs in place underwater. The consumer says that this causes cracking of the tray as well. The instructions recommend a 50lb bag of sand be placed on the tray.
