The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

No one hurt Made May 10, 2023, sent to the company Jun 7, 2023, published by CPSC Jun 22, 2023
The product, in the report: Go-Kart
The consumer indicates that her daughter was riding in circles in her go-kart around their home for about twenty-five minutes. When her daughter was done, the consumer and her husband tried to bring the unit to the basement like they always do but, before it could be fully stored, the welded steering column snapped off. The consumer notes that her husband pushes the go-kart while she steers it from the front and that it never bumped into anything. Upon inspection, the consumer realized that the weld was completely rusted from the inside out. The consumer is very concerned because her daughter could have been seriously injured had the steering wheel came off while she was riding it.
The consumer contacted the manufacturer and explained the situation; the representative she spoke to informed her that the unit was out of warranty so they could not assist her free of charge.
The consumer states that, prior to the incident, the unit was used once or twice weekly for approximately twenty minutes.
The consumer plans on keeping the go-kart for at least the next thirty days in case an investigation ensues.
