  1. First aid

Made Feb 21, 2023, sent to the company Feb 24, 2023, published by CPSC Mar 10, 2023

The product, in the report: The manufacturer is Paradise Grills and I purchased the GX8 Center mount BBQ and the St Thomas 7 foot bar with foot rail. The color is stone gray with a dark gray porcelain tops.

I purchased an outdoor BBQ and bar from Paradise Grills in Florida. They were delivered to my home on 3/3/2022 and within a months time, the bar fell over from a slight wind. The bar unit is top heavy and it has too narrow a base to hold it stable. It smashed into the other unit causing damages to both. The design on this product is defected and very dangerous. The unit tipped over a second time while I was between the two units and catching it with both hands so as not to hit my legs. I injured my hands and hurt both wrists. The product is defective with design issues and the manufacturer won’t do anything for me and stated “all sales are final”. This needed to be reported as an unsafe product that can cause bodily injury.
