  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Jul 3, 2024, sent to the company Jul 9, 2024, published by CPSC Jul 24, 2024

The product, in the report: Wilmington Cape Fear Classic Stainless Steel Grill with full 30 inch Griddle., utilizing 25 lb liquid Propane tank as fuel

I have a Wilmington Grill with the optional full griddle and each time I light it the flame blows out the igniter hole and singes my arm. Reported this to the company and they said it was caused by gas buildup and I should remove the 37 pound griddle before starting the grill each time. Additionally the basic grill comes without any front shelf which cause you to burn your arm and fingers any time you adjust the flame due to the fact that the flame controls are right on the stainless steel firebox.
