The product, in the report: Stok Portable Grill
In March 2016 I purchased a Stok BBQ grill from Tool Direct a retailer for company owned products such as Ryobi Tools, [REDACTED] among others from an outlet at [REDACTED]. The grill, still in warranty and used very little and taken extremely good care of exploded causing $14,500.00 damage to my home , burns to my face, arms, forearms, and top of my head. I contacted the Arkansas State Police Capt [REDACTED] and an investigator was dispatched to my home . The results were to be found the fire was a defective fuel regulator burning though the fuel supply line from the propane that caused a massive fire with force under pressure, I contacted Stok Grills A me. [REDACTED] concluded to his findings that the fire was caused by either a defective fuel supply line of operator error. I learned Stok Grill recalled over 40,000 grills in 2012 2013. They states there were over 500 events that caused no injuries or property damage.

The product, in the report: Stok stainless steel 4 burner gas grill
After using the grill, I turned off the burners. There were no flames inside the grill. After some time my wife noticed our patio chair on fire. I extinguished the flames, and noticed that there was fire coming from the stem of the burner control, which it appears to have melted the knob, causing it to fall off, and light the chair on fire.

The product, in the report: Gas Grill
The caller stated that the while using the grill for the second time, there was no grease on the unit and while it was warming up, flames ignited under the cooking box. They contained the flames by using a fire extinguisher. She feels that she experienced similar problems of release 12-152..Hazard: The regulator on the grill can leak propane gas, which can ignite, posing fire and burn hazard to consumers.
6/3/13 The manufacturer was contacted and she was advised to send pictures of the incident and someone would contact her.
The caller feels that this gas grill should be included in the recall.

No one hurt Made Apr 4, 2013, sent to the company Apr 12, 2013, published by CPSC Apr 26, 2013
The product, in the report: Gas grill. Quatro model
Gas regulator on my Stok Quatro grill last pressure to grill and was leaking causing a slight back flash (fire) under grill. As soon as leaking fuel burned (1 sec burst) the fire was out, however the regulator continued to give low pressure to the grill and leaked. I turned the gas bottle off and the regulator off and when opened up it continued to leak. When I went to Home Depot to buy a new regulator I found that there is a recall, I have called the manufacture today and they want to pick up this regulator by FedEx next Thursday and when they receive it will ship a new one. I would have much rather just been able to buy one and noted the recall issue.
