The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: This is a universal fit, Griddle top made for use on a variety of heating services including gas grills of which I have.

Sought a griddle top for use with my gas grill. Found website and 100% 5 star reviews. ordered griddle researched use including first use, cleaning etc. received emails from this company about care and use but no warnings at all... upon Receiving product, no cautionary instructions included with product only limited material on general use of a griddle. When used for first time, on scraping to clean...fat went into the griddle and a massive flare up fire occurred burning the hair off my eyes, face and right arm and hand. Did not go to hospital, was able to use ice and have since healed. On attempts to work with the company via email exchange as they have no phone, they refuse to return the item. Seems the size of my item is not a proper fit for the grill and they could create a better fit custom but refused to exchange, they also had some limited tips for what occurred. HOWEVER, they take zero responsibility and being that they are 5* on their site yet on [REDACTED] they are 1* this seems incongruous and a business that is NOT what they seem to be. i believe they are selling a hazardous product without proper testing or warnings.
