The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Paradise Grills outdoor kitchen grills. My specific model GX6 purchased 7/5/23

The legs on my patio kitchen grill collapsed crushing my gas supply line. In photos, are defective legs but I also showed in GREEN how a simple washer & nut would have prevented legs from collapsing. Out of warranty, I am fixing myself.

The product, in the report: paradise grill gsl -32b

The consumer states that he purchased the product back in 2021. He had never used it before. It was at his house in [REDACTED]. Then, he took it to [REDACTED] to use it for the 4th of July. The consumer explained they turned the gas up, and he realized that the right had flames.

He says that the flames reached the mechanism. It ended up melting the electronics.

This happened a few moments after they started to use the grill. He never had time to place any food on the grill.

He removed the propane tank so he could take pictures and send them to the company.

The consumer’s wife, [REDACTED], spoke to the company. They told them that the product was not part of the recalled list and that it was not on warranty.

The consumer and his wife are concerned because the company is taking this case as a warranty issue, when it is more a safety issue, since this product could have exploded and kill someone or burn down the house.

They have been calling the customer number 800-604-2023, and they haven’t been able to receive any assistance from the company.

The product, in the report: Paradise Grill

Turned on the Paradise grill to heat up. When I went to open the lid, the unit was so hot (handle, top, knobs, exterior,) it burnt my hand. A friend came over and went to turn the unit off and he burnt his hand. I reported this to Paradise grill and they said nothing is wrong with grill. The recent recall - contacted Paradise grill and they communicated that there was no issue with my unit. If I use more than 2 burners, the unit gets too hot! I reported to [REDACTED as well.
