Made Jan 6, 2015, sent to the company Feb 6, 2015, published by CPSC Feb 24, 2015

The product, in the report: Propane Heater

Consumer stated that the propane heater bursted into flames and he could not turn it off, he had to switch it off from the propane tank. In doing so the flames dissipated shortly after. He stated that the regulator would not respond to power it off, it was only on for 10 mins when the incident occurred. The housing for the unit became red hot during this time.

The manufacturer was not contacted as yet. Consumer feels that the heater is a fire hazard that could have caused a house fire if he had not been present.
