I am concerned about two defects that I noticed in an LP gas replacement burner manufactured by GrillPro/Broil. King/Onward Manufacturing Company Limited.

    1. The gaskets provided deteriorate within a few weeks of use to the point where they crack, break apart, and cause gaps that could allow gas to escape thereby allowing for the possibility of the gas to be ignited and flames to occur in the areas of the grill where they are not intended and may cause fire or explosion.

    2. The burner is intended for heating separately controlled sides of a grill. However, I have received three of these replacement burners over the course of less than two months and all three have had the same defect. The seperating divider within the burner, between the two halves, has large gaps that allow gas to pass from one side to the other when only one side is intended to be lit. Due to the proximity of the gas escaping to the flame on the intended lit side the escaping gas is ignited and either stays lit on the unintended side also or it ignites then goes out then reignites cyclically as the gas accumulates. The user may not expect the other side to be hot causing an accident.
