The product, in the report: tree swing

This is a swing that hangs from a tree. It has 4 ropes extending from the seat that are attached to a metal ring. The metal ring is attached to a heavy duty webbing strap, which is then secured to a tree limb.

The consumer’s children were playing with swing, when it broke. The consumer’s 6 year old, 60 lbs., son was in the swing and fell on the ground. The son sustained a bruised butt and experiences soreness to his tailbone. The consumer plans to take the child to Urgent Care later.

The heavy duty webbing strap broke and caused the swing to fall to the ground. The swing is rated for 600 lbs.

The consumer said that he read some of the reviews on the dealer’s site and there are several reports from other people, who experienced similar incidents with this firm’s swings. It is unknown if they had the same model.
