The product, in the report: Tusacan Backyard Discovery children’s swings (wood & plastic, & vinyl) Model 65411
6/15/2020: The product was assembled by the consumer
The consumer’s 3 year old daughter climbed up the rock wall and got stuck between the roof and the top support, on the back side. The consumer’s 6 year old child, climbed the structure and freed the daughter.
The daughter stands on top of the slide and climbs up the top support and hand out between the roof and the top support. If the child were to fall, she could be injured. The consumer said that the firm should have a design to prevent children from climbing the structure in that capacity.
The child was never injured in any of these instances.
The product is recommended for children ages 3 - 10 years of age.
The consumer called the firm and he said that it took approximately 1 week for them to call him back. He missed the return call, so the firm sent him an email. The consumer said the email indicated that his child was active and he should monitor the child’s use of the product.
