First aid Made May 17, 2021, sent to the company May 20, 2021, published by CPSC Jun 4, 2021
The product, in the report: SWURFER® LEMON SLICE 40” SWING. This is a disc swing, that has four ropes that attach to the disc, and then the two sides join at the top for attachment to the tree. Model LEMON SLICE 40” SWING
My son and daughter (120 total pounds) were swinging and one of the ropes broke. More specifically, the rope pulled out of the plastic connection near that connects the rope to the eyelet. They were not swinging very high, they were pumping-- not being pushed by anyone. Still, the breaking of the swing drove my daughter into the ground (mulch) with great force. Luckily, so far she only has minor injuries-- scrapes and bruises. We are watching concussion symptoms.
