Was to be made per consumer’s order but was not! Pieced together! Model name or number: Was to be made to consumer’s specifications! But not! No model# No serial# only phone order sales receipt! Date manufactured: purchased on 3/13/14 pd 1/2 on 3/13/14 Was to be 100% redwood 3 different woods on set! Unsafe, not what consumer ordered, defective wood, wood no good! Installers tried to put together bowed, warped, bent, dry wood not 100% Redwood splitting, cracking wood 1-1/2” deep all over set! Have you contacted the manufacture: They said hairline fractures! Said will replace bad wood! Do not want!! Bad company, bad wood, dishonest, do not jeopardize my D/C children!

   Caller stated that the swing set label stated that it is 100% red wood but it is not. The swing set beams are warped, split and cracked. This happened while the swing was being installed. She noticed this and brought it to the installers attention. A week later she confirmed that this swing set was a safety hazard, children can fall, get their hands between the cracked wood, splintering etc. and that this should be removed from her property.

   4/2014 Caller stated that she requested the installers certificate for installation but the retailer refused to give her a copy. Several weeks ago she requested for the retailer to take back the swing set but he refused. She was notified through email from the manufacturer that because of hairline fracture the set would not be covered under warranty. She had the product examined by a public safety inspector and Master carpenter and they both have condemned the product because of the safety hazard it poses.

   Purchased set over phone from Outback Play Systems on 3/13/14. Was not made to consumer’s specifications! Not Redwood! Installed on 4/9/13. Pointed out at a distance two beams that have bowed, bent, warped sticking up off ground 5”! Installers told consumer the set has to settle!! Ground flat other set sat there fine for 15 years! Not near set until boxed in a ground cover down under set for safety! Ground cover down 4/16/14. Physically got on set 4/17/14. All daycare parents, kids and consumer saw, heard, felt deep splits, deep cracks, shaking, moan, groan, splintered, dry, warped, bowed, bent, steps cracked all the way through cheap dry pine wood, ladder very crooked, slide crooked, missing bolts. Big gaps where set will not fit together, tripping hazard top of slide, not installed properly, whole set crooked. Shakes, squeaks with little weight, not safe! Steps different heights, tripping hazard, 8 drilled holes, screwed holes, all over set warped crooked, bent 5 holes may move! Easter weekend, [REDACTED] Outback closed on Mon. April 21. Called Outback [REDACTED] told him all swing set defects, wrote letters, emails, pictures, videos, contacted Rainbow Corporate! Set has been condemned by Safety Inspectors! DO NOT WANT anything to do with these companies! Take set away ASAP!! Consumer wants her $ back! Liars & thieves! Endangered her daycare children! Do not trust [REDACTED] & Rainbow Corporate.

   Some emails enclosed, letter enclosed. - Pictures in another envelope. - Have a video consumer sent to them if you want to see the video! - 4 people tried to send [REDACTED] pictures & video Email permanently failed many times! - Contacted another Rainbow Company in Columbia MD to inspect the set. The consumer was told the installers certifications were in German! - Asked [REDACTED] (Outback) to see installer’s paperwork! He refused to show the consumer! Said they were under his employment! Forced bowed, bent, crooked wood together compromising the whole set! Split, deep cracks all over set! - Suppose to be 100% Redwood, it is not. Master carpenter said, “Pine, cedar, & some redwood!” - Safety inspector report enclosed! - [REDACTED] & Rainbow Corp. said “Hairline fractures in wood!” Without looking at the set! Wants to replace only pieces they see to replace! Switch & bait, brand new set!! Messed up! Consumer wants $ back Set off her property!
