The product, in the report: Mainstays Big and Tall Zero Gravity Outdoor Reclining 3246Swing, Green Camo
Mainstays Big and Tall Zero Gravity Outdoor Reclining Swing, Green Camo
Rated to hold up to 350lb
One of the rods that holds the spring broke right in 2. It did not break at a seem. It did not break at a weld. It did not break at a screw. It broke slick in half. To give one an “idea” of what it looks like, it looks like you took a saw and cut a round pipe right in 2 BUT there are no saw marks. There are no “stretch” marks (indicating to much weight) I was sitting on it, not swinging (Thank God) but just sitting there and all of a sudden it snapped. I weigh 230lbs. The swing is 1 year old. The swing has ALWAYS sat on a covered porch out of the weather. It is not rusted. I have 2 other swings that are still in the box. I’m afraid to set them up now because this should not happen. If I was laid back & swinging, I could have been seriously hurt. I have pictures if someone can contact me.
