The product, in the report: 39” long blue 10mm wide polyester looped rope with a stainless steel hook
I purchased a “Tree Swing Hanging Rope” on Amazon from [REDACTED] to hang a pod swing. It claimed to have a 440lb weight capacity. We hung it up on Nov 30th 2022 in our basement and our two children (40lbs and 50lbs) have been using the swing daily since then. The rope was looped over an exposed beam. Today when my daughter was swinging the rope snapped and she fell. Luckily she only had bruises as she was swinging slowly at the time. I am concerned other children will get hurt if this product isn’t recalled.
