The product, in the report: Electric smoker
The Masterbuilt Electric Smoker was bought at Best Buy. The meat thermometer stop working within 9 months. I had to disconnect it so the unit would work. On 12/22/2016 I was going to smoke some meat. I plug the unit it into an outside ground fault receptacle. When I turn on the burner it instantly tripped the ground fault. I could find no problems. When I research it online I found the unit had a problem with the electrical wiring inside the metal cabinet going to the heating element. If it had not been a ground fault receptacle I would have possible been shock. There is no solution by the company for this problem
