The product, in the report: 390-sq in Black Vertical Charcoal Smoker. Black (pictures and picture/receipt to follow) The broken handle is identified in the brochure as Part # 8 Assess door assembly
I bought a new upright smoker grill advertised as a Dyna-Flo Vertical Charcoal Smoker. The side door was pre-assembled with a handle that turns so you can close or open this side door to view that area inside the grill to add coals, water... While using the smoker for the first time I opened the door for the 2nd time and the HOT handle fell apart in my hand. The backside of the door contains a clip like device that secures the handle to the metal door. The end of the handle fits through the door and a clip secures the pieces together. The clip came off and the handle assembly fell apart and I burned my finger when the handle parts disassembled. I called the warranty hotline and they replaced it but the design is bad and I believe this failure will happen again if not to me, then to others.
