The product, in the report: I was using the Apex 24 from Camp Chef. It only comes in two sizes, the Apex 24, and Apex 36. Both likely affected by this manufacturing issue.
I purchased a pellet grill/smoker but discovered metal shards/debris/shavings inside the burn cup. When pellets are fed into the burn cup and ignited, a fan is used to create and distribute heat throughout the grilling chamber. I discovered that metal shards had been distributed/circulated to other areas of the grill, including the grill chamber where food is prepared. My concern is that these metal shards are getting blown onto the food and ingested.
