The product, in the report: Charcoal & Gas Grill
The caller stated that gas/charcoal grill controlled knobs had melted due overheating. The grill was in use for approximately 30 mins and then he noticed that one of the knobs had fallen off, the other knob had melted as well. The grill was turned off to prevent further damages.
5/30/12 The manufacturer was contacted and he was informed that there might have been a blockage in the burner tube and that that he should try to clean the tube. However, this was not the problem, the grill was being for the third time. 7/24/12 The manufacturer sent out some knobs but the sizes were incorrect. The caller feels that the grill is a safety hazard and should be reported.
