The product, in the report: 120v GRANITE brand model # YD205, item # GKA-CG100. This was the white color model. This item is a smaller sandwich press/grill.

I received this unit as a gift. (“Yankee Swap”@ work, unknown giver, no receipt) On 1st use, the unit made a sharp “crack” type noise, but continued to work. It was then noticed that the base of this device had bubbled up, and a burnt odor was noticed .This unit is a GRANITE brand small panini press, Model# YD205, ITEM # GKA-CG100 . Made in China. I promptly disposed of this unit. I did take 3 photos of this unit, and the damage to it.
