The product, in the report: summer waves 18 ft Elite frame pool round cool grey
My son constantly climbs on this band when we are in the pool and he’s outside the pool. We yell at him to get down and he does. But then the neighbor kid who is 2 was also caught doing this when we were not home and fell in. He was fine cause he grabbed the ledge but still never the less it could have went way worst. But my son has also done this and fell in when my husband and I were not back there. Luckily his sister was but she was only 7!

The product, in the report: 32 x 16 x 52 Summer Waves Above ground rectangle frame pool desk. dark Wicker
Last week October 18, 2022, while I was working the pool ripped along the top seam all the way around. The seam was defective. I bought the pool online through Walmart.com on March3, 2022. It was delivered on March 10, 2022. I set up in March 2022. know I have already called Polygroup. I bought the pool from Walmart online. Here is the complaint I was sold a pool with a faulty seam that went down like I have never seen before. The day was gorgeous outside, I was on my last break of the day outside and all of a sudden, I heard a rip and before I knew it well you see the pictures. Once the seam started ripping it continued. That seam was faulty. I bought the pool in March 2022, delivered it in March 2022, and put the pool up. At the beginning of this week October 18, 2022, the top seam ripped creating a rippling affect rippling all around the top. Had one of my little dogs been outside they would have died. Had it happened when my kids were outside one of them would have hurt. To top it off the pump was running, and I tried unplugging to turn it off and got shocked really bad. We did use the pool once we had up until the day it went down. I was told by Polygroup (maufacturer) I believe the pool had a 90-day warranty from date of delivery. I was told by Walmart the pool had a 30-day warranty from date of purchase. I haven’t even had the pool for a year and although we did use it obviously, we can’t now. It wasn’t just the pool I had purchased. I got a new pump, electricity for the pump, water, weekly cleaning, vacuuming, etc.... I bought the pool because the previous summer my now 13-year-old had gotten jumped in the bathroom at the public pool in the boy’s bathroom by 9 other kids. So, this past summer I decided I wanted a pool, so he didn’t have to go to the public pool to swim. Now, the pool is destroyed, I’m out thousands of dollars and my son will have to go to the public next summer if I don’t get a replacement. I would rather get my money for the purchase than another above ground pool after a long consideration it is too dangerous for pets or kids if this happens. No one was injured. I was shocked by the pump because the pump was on when this happened, and I tried unplugging it because of the flood in my backyard. We were lucky no one and no dogs were out at the time.

No one hurt Made Jul 26, 2022, sent to the company Aug 5, 2022, published by CPSC Aug 19, 2022
The product, in the report: Summer Waves 24ft x 12ft x 52in Rectangle Above Ground Frame Swimming Pool Set
We purchased a Summer Waves 24ft x 12ft x 52in Rectangle Above Ground Frame Swimming Pool Set in February of 2021. When we set up the pool for the summer (end of May) we found out the 90-day warranty (from date of purchase) was passed and the leaky filter pump would not be covered. However, after a season and a half of use (so a total of 4.5 months), the entire liner ripped even though it was installed on level ground and not overfilled (in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions). The instant release of 8000 gallons of water bent parts of the steel frame to 90-degree angles and if one of our kids had been in the pool, simply standing next to it, or even mowing (as they were planning to do that day), they would have been seriously injured by the force of this poor quality product or even killed.
The manufacturer refuses to do anything about this poorly designed pool and further searches on seller websites and BBB.org are showing many more instances of this happening after only a season or a little more than a single season of use. This is an incredibly poorly designed and dangerous product and while I would recommend other consumers stay away from it, these pools should also not be allowed to be sold.

No incident, no one hurt Made Jul 12, 2022, sent to the company Jul 15, 2022, published by CPSC Jul 29, 2022
The product, in the report: 14x36 swimming pool made by Summer Waves, sold by TMH Ventures through Amazon
On June 22, 2022 I ordered a summer waves 14 x 36 quickset pool this pool was sold through Amazon by a company called TMH ventures we set the pool up following instructions closely filled it up with water and my grandson played in the pool for about 30 minutes. The following day I got in the pool stayed in there For approximately 30 minutes ,came inside to get something to drink and heard an explosion . The pool had exploded in the backyard , it came apart were the seams were bonded. 3000 gallons of water rushed out with such force that my back driveway which is asphalt with gravel on top was dislodged And I now have holes in my driveway where the asphalt used to be. It washed the gravel 20 to 30 feet over the driveway into my lawn. I cannot cut my grass because the rock is embedded in the grass approximately 5 to 6 inches deep . I have contacted Amazon And they refunded my money within 2 to 3 days . An Amazon representative has called me and checked in regularly to see if TMH Ventures has tried to reach out and find a resolution. To which my response was - no they have not. I have requested with each email that I sent to TMH Ventures for A representative of their company to please contact me. I think they needed to send someone to my house and look at the damage . I would like to have my driveway restored and the rocks out of my lawn. it is most fortunate that my grandson and myself were not in this pool when this happened because the water came out in such force I do believe we could have gotten seriously injured I have asked TMH Ventures to please send me an address or a phone number, I have gotten either one. I also called and spoke with the company that actually made this pool their name is Summer waves . I did get a representative on the phone he did admit that they do sell defective pools and other companies buy these and sell them on Amazon, to which my response was….why is Summer waves selling defective poles that they know have issues? I wanted to make you aware of the situation and other consumers. [REDACTED]
