The product, in the report: Little Tikes Turtle Sand Box

I bought [REDACTED] a Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox from Toys R Us Sunday. Yesterday morning we went shopping and when we got back I let him play outside. He has a fenced in area on the porch so I put him in there while I carried stuff into the house with the screen closed only I can hear him. It was right around 10:30am and less than 75 degrees outside. Well I hear him start screaming so I run outside and see him lifting his feet up in his sandbox. There wasn’t sand in it yet. I jerk him up and feel the sandbox. It was extremely hot so I take him inside and put an ice pack on his feet. He is crying and saying “Oww” Naturally he doesn’t like that so I put him in the tub with some lukewarm water. When I get him out he doesn’t want to stand up at all. He keeps saying “Oww” and crying. I look at his feet again and see that he has blisters on both of his feet. I did go ahead and take him to the doctor. I just don’t see how this could even happen. It was early in the morning not that hot and how is it an outdoor kids toy could even get so hot?? The thing has built in seats. Imagine if he had tried to sit down! He also has a [REDACTED] structure outside. It was barely warm.
