   The product, in the report: The exact item I purchased is no longer listed on Amazon. But extremely similar items are. The URL I provided appears to be the same product I had, minus the added bus play area. The provided link is to the 8 in 1 Playset. My product purchased was the bigger 10 in 1, which has been removed from Amazon and replaced with a different 10 in 1 newer model. However, mine appears in looks like the 8 in 1. The item is described on Amazon as an Indoor and Outdoor Playset, The slide requires tightening of plastic screws during assembly and checking for loose screws when in use. Sturdy and Safe Toddler Slide: Keep your baby active with this plastic baby slide. It comes with a ladder of non-slip steps and grips a set of sturdy handrails to provide a fun and safe experience for toddlers and young children. The 10 in 1 playset is a Toddler Playground :The toddler slide has 10 activity areas, including stairs, slides, 2 storage spaces, ring-toss gamebasketball area, aisle, play telescope, play bus, crawl through tunnel and climbing area at the bottom. There are at least two openings in which I found to have failed the safety guidelines set forth by the US CPSC. There is a 7 inch open circle above the play bus area, at the top of the slide and another triangular opening just below the circle which is also within the 3.5-9 inch danger zone.

   Recently, I was made aware that CPSC Warns Consumers to Stop Using Slide Playsets Immediately Due to Risk of Serious Injury and Death from Head and Neck Entrapment Hazards, One Death Reported, Manufactured by [REDACTED], with the Vehicle Shaped side component. Upon some brief research on this, I discovered that all look a like playsets sold by other manufacturers should be checked for similar dangers. I have an almost identical Playset, purchase via Amazon which failed the safety regulations set forth by all of the following: US Consumer Product Safety Commission, [REDACTED]. The XJD slide failed with the exact same risks mentioned about the [REDACTED]. Both contain multiple openings where a childs torso can fit through the openings but a childs head cannot, posing a risk of serious injury and death due to head and neck entrapment hazards. Your website says to look for openings between 3.5 inches to 9 inches. The XJD has at least two failed openings, that fall right in the middle of the flagged red zone or danger zone. My product is the XJD 10 in 1 Toddler Slide, Kids Slide for Toddlers Age 1 and older, Toddler Play Climber Slide Playset with Basketball Hoop and Ball,Toddlers Outdoor Indoor Playground, Blue Gray, Large, purchased on Amazon, DOP is October 8, 2024. It has a circular opening that is 7 inches in diameter, and a triangular opening that has lengths of close to 6 inches on one leg and just about 9 inches on the other. The product is sold by a Chinese company. I tried contacting them via Amazon seller support communications and they are denying any safety concerns. I mentioned concern regarding the related product in the news and recent child death, I provided them with photos of the two areas of concern mentioned and that they fail the guidelines for entrapment and strangulation. The photos showed the openings with and without measuring tape, providing proof of the exact measurements. Regardless, they continue to deny accountability or any safety risk posed by their product and will not comment or acknowledge the similarity to the other playset, slide that caused the death. I made Amazon aware of all of this and they are looking into it, however, I am not confident anything will come from it. I immediately dismantled my Playset. As a parent I could never risk my children playing with it knowing the potential risk. I cannot return it, they wouldnt accept the return, and it would be criminal to try to resell it. I find it highly important for this product and Amazon to be investigated and for families who have purchased this to be notified of the same risk of severe injury or death. What I find interesting is that the company keeps saying it is safe, meanwhile, my version of the slide is no longer available on Amazon, and there is a new and improved version of it now for sale. This new version, seems to have been updated to possibly fix the areas of concern. So they will not acknowledge the failed safety openings, but they changed it on the newer model. Please investigate it. A recall is required. Given the other manufacturer also denied responsibility, and will not accept a recall status, I am assuming this company will do the same. But the news outlets and CPSC needs to send out another warning messages to families, daycares and anyone who may have this model.
