The product, in the report: Bont rollerskates like the prostar, parkstar, hybrid, racer, envy and quadstar that have the prodigy plate or the black tracer plate.
Bont rollerskates using the prodigy plate have been well known and documented for trucks popping in and out during skating. The black tracer plates are documented for trucks snapping clean off. If you contact bont, they will send you replacement parts, but many people do not know the risk of these products failing. Bont does know but has not issued a recall.
