  1. First aid

Made Jul 16, 2019, sent to the company Aug 8, 2019, published by CPSC Aug 29, 2019

The product, in the report: https://www.wheels.co/ Automatic bike transportation - they come in multiple colors and you use an app to start the bike.

I was riding Wheels, an electronic bike and following all instructions that are given through the user manual in the app. The bike has brake handles and I had used the brake while riding it around the block for subtle stops and slowing down. about 7-10 minutes into my ride there was a car coming on the other side of the road and was not paying attention to where he was driving, I pulled the brakes on the bike to stop and that caused the back wheel to come up off the ground and sling me into the air going over the front of the bike and into oncoming traffic. I flipped over the front of the bike and had to put my hands down to brace my fall as my body hit the concrete. I quickly got up in fear that I would get run over by a car. As I got up I had scrapes on the ground from the concreate and my right leg had big bruises and was bleeding. I was riding the product on the street as instructed and using the brakes that were on it, my friend was also there with me. I have found further information that other people have had this problem as well with the bikes and someone has broken their wrists. I have photos of my leg injury from the day that it happened. I contacted the company and did not hear back for a week after following up and then they choose to not contact me through email and speak only through a google voice number.
