As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: E-bike

I purchased this ebike from ACTBIKE of Los Angeles, CA. Its the S model of the SDREAM 750w line. Cables and brake lines are run through the frame of the bike. The rear of the S model has independent suspension. Because no consideration was given to the protection of cables and lines running through this area, the lines are exposed to rubbing against metal edges. This caused the rear hydraulic brake line to wear through. The line lost pressure and I lost braking.

In an exchange of emails, they decided I should complete repairs and add rubber housing to protect the lines. This is a serious safety concern for me. How many others are going to face possible braking failure, because of this mistake in design? I have included photos of the bike and the rear brake line. Hopefully they can be made to remedy this situation.
