The product, in the report: SPORTS TUBE Black Rubber Inner Tube Giant 70”
Hello there, thank you for taking the time to read this. I bought a black rubber inner tube made for recreational use from Orschelns in Marysville, KS. That same day, I used the tube on a float trip and shortly into the float the backs of my legs started to burn. By the end of the day the backs of my legs, arms and back, anywhere that the tube had touched were bright red and felt like a really bad sunburn. I’m not allergic to rubber, it wasn’t from the rubber getting hot, wasn’t chafing, it was definitely some kind of reaction or chemical burn from something on or in the rubber. The sack the tube came sealed in has an obnoxious smelling florecent yellow powder on the inside of it. I have contacted the place I purchased the tube, as well as the distributer. Neither has had anyone else make this complaint. I’m waiting to hear back from the distributer who is going to contact the manufacturer in China and share the pictures with them that I sent. I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else.
