The product, in the report: Farenheat 49in electric baseboard heater model F2544NWCA 220v

A Farenheat brand electric baseboard heater, model F2544NWCA 220vsuffered a catastrophic failure 3 years post installation when it shorted out internally between the heating element and the temperature sensor. When the thermostat turned the unit on, the unit emitted sparks, pieces of molten metal from the heating fins, and a loud pop. Fortunately the circuit breaker tripped immediately and no further damage to the premises occurred. Prior to failure the unit had been in service for 3 years.

The product, in the report: Fahrenheat PLF1504 BASEBOARD HEATERS, Navajo White. This is a hardwired unit that’s 70” long.

We purchased a Fahrenheat PLF1504 hydronic baseboard heater for our living room, dining room, and bathroom having them all professionally installed on 2/12/21. A little more than a week later, on 2/21/21, we noticed sparks flying out from the end of the dining room heater buring the unit and part of our hardwood floors. Upon inspection by our electrician later that day he determined that the unit was defective and improperly manufactured. The was confirmed when we compared the defective unit to the other two units already installed.

The product, in the report: This is 58 inch long Hydronic Baseboard electric heater powered by 120 volt with self contained thermostat manufactured by Fahreheat

We had a Fahrenheit Hydronic Baseboard electric heater operating on 120 volt current. We have had this heater for approximately 5 years and used this to partially heat a room in our finished basement. Today (5-5-2020) the heater caught on fire. Fortionately we were home and were alerted by the smoke detectors so that we were able to put the fire out with minimal damage. This heater was originally purchased at The Home Depot and manufactured by Fahrenheit. The Baseboard heater was not obstructed and the fire started in the control housing that also contains the internal thermostat

The product, in the report: portable electric/hydronic baseboard heater

Have baseboard heater in livingroom to supplement home heat and noticed that the on light was no longer lite. Prompted me to make sure breaker didn’t go off, unplugged heater, plugged in lamp and lamp turned on. This morning I found product manual and took screw out of baseboard heater exposing internal wires connected to on switch. The wires were melted to the point when I touched them with screw driver they crumpled. There was no odor of melting wire covering. Product is about 2 years old only use it periodically. I’m just glad there was no damage, no fire, I’m just not sure that someone else will be as lucky as I was using this product.
