The product, in the report: Climate Keeper Brand- see above for further info Electric Baseboard Convection Heater

I purchased this product a “Climate Keeper” 1500 watt Electric Baseboard Convection Heater model Number BBC-1500 from a local Big Lots store in Johnstown, PA. I used the product for several months without incident. I then began having trouble operating the switch that turned the unit on, off and between settings. If I worked at it the switch would eventually work. After doing this several times the heater quit working completely. I took it apart to find a red wire which appeared to be attached to the switch assembly was almost completely burned off. I took the product back to Big Lots and explained this- my heater was still within the time period for returning it and they refunded my money without any trouble.
