The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: baseboard heater--see previous info.. The photos I have are from an email sent to me by my daughter’s phone. I don’t know how to send them since they aren’t filed on my computer....just in my computer email inbox. I can forward the email to you if you have an email address that is not in a form....just a plain old email address....no forms.

Please send me an email address so I can forward to you the photos of the Hydro-Sil baseboard heater which had an electrical fire in the control panel. I purchased 4 of these around 2005-2006 and have been happy with them until now. I need to be able to forward the photos and not send them as an attachment.....that is.... if you want the photos.

I just want to warn others this may be a problem. I tried to contact Hydro-Sil to see whether they would like to see what happened to the heater. They are no longer in business. I never received a recall notice on this. The NC DOJ had not received any reports on a possible fire hazard. They are taking the company to court for other consumer issues. The company had an A+ BBB rating when I bought from them.
