The product, in the report: Kozy Heat Rockford XL gas furnace

We purchased the Kozy Heat Rockford XL gas furnace in Sept 2011. We received the recall notice in April 2014 and contacted the installer immediately who completed the necessary repairs. Despite this we have continued to have delayed ignition. We have reported this to the installer no less than 6 times. Each time we were reassured that the necessary steps were taken and there is no concern with this unit. Tonight we pressed the on button for the furnace. Shortly after a VERY loud boom sound occurred and the walls and floor in the entire house shook. I rushed into the room and found the fireplace off, white smoked swirling inside and an intense smell that smelled like electrical wires burning. I rushed outside and turned the main gas line off. I then turned the gas line off directly at the unit and unplugged the electrical source. This unit has never worked properly. We reported it on numerous occasions before the recall and have reported delayed ignition after the recall. Tonight our house almost blew up. We are freaked out and very concerned. What can we do to get an entirely different unit. I can’t trust this unit any longer.
