  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 15, 2013, sent to the company Apr 3, 2013, published by CPSC Apr 17, 2013

The product, in the report: 80,000 BTU [Gas] Furnace

September 16th, 2004 Green’s Heating & Cooling installed a Frigidaire furnace for caller and since then he has had to replace the motherboard twice, the igniter five times. 2012 year the heat exchanger blew out of it and now in 2013 the heat exchanger is blown out again.

Frigidaire replaced the heat exchanger the first time but now will not although caller notified them that there was carbon monoxide coming from unit.

Green’s blames gas company, gas company has checked and states it is the heating and cooling company.

Caller is reporting this furnace as a safety hazard and still has this furnace although he has purchased and installed a different furnace for the safety of his family.

He is asking that CPSC have someone to investigate this furnace, recall it and assist those persons who are forced to use them.
