The product, in the report: gas boiler
The consumer has a safety concern about the product. During an annual maintenance on 2/26/2023, it was discovered that the flue gas sensor was hanging out of the unit. The maintenance people put silicone in the unit to keep it from falling. This can cause carbon monoxide to re-circulate in the unit. Also, on last week, the fan failed due to the gas leak. The consumer contacted the firm and was advised that the product was out of warranty.
The consumer stated that the issue is the same as the units that were recalled in 2019. However, her unit is not included.
