The product, in the report: Lochinvar Knight gas residential condensing boiler. Model #KHN110 Serial #1551102312187

RE: Lochinvar gas boiler Model #KHN110 Serial #1551102312187 . 2 incidents of gas leaks. 1st was Feb 16, 2022: called my plumber/installer to report my boiler not working and with a strong smell of gas. Was told the gas was leaking - the valve had loosened and that it is now fixed. 2nd time Oct 13, 2022: very strong smell of gas. I called [REDACTED] to report a gas leak. Technician came to the house with a detector to determine the source of the leak. The detector went crazy when near the boiler, which clearly indicated the leak was coming from the boiler. I took a video with the technician and had him explain verbally and visually show the exact location of the leak inside the boiler. He immediately turned off the gas source, and tagged the boiler. He advised me to open windows and not ignite any flames, etc. until the boiler could be serviced. I immediately called my plumber/installer who came and it was determined that the gas valve was indeed faulty, and it was then replaced. For months I had been experiencing severe headaches, nausea, tiredness throughout the summer of 2022. As autumn and cooler temperatures approached, I normally closed all my windows and turned on my heat. With windows closed the smell of gas now became obvious. I had not previously associated my symptoms with the presence of gas, but now believe the leaking gas was the cause. Since the replacement of the faulty gas valve, my symptoms began to disappear. I have been unable to reach anyone at Lochinvar - they simply do not answer the phone. THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION AND COULD HAVE RESULTED IN SERIOUS DAMAGE TO MY HOME, AND MORE SO, TO MY OWN WELL BEING! Lochinvar has numerous registered recalls pertaining to faulty gas valves causing dangerous gas leaks, but my boiler model is not one listed as a recalled model. IT SHOULD BE!
