How badly anyone was hurt

As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

The product, in the report: low water cut-off and auto water fill for steam boilers

both low water cut-off and auto water feed failed which could have either had boiler explosion or dry fired damage. this is a single unit and either one or the other half could have failed and their would be no problem but for this device to completely fail is very dangerous. this boiler is serviced and cleaned twice a year and is not neglected. to have only a one year warranty on a device that costs 200 dollars and is such an important safety device is ridiculous. this safety device should not fail in 1-2 years.
