  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Jul 31, 2023, sent to the company Aug 14, 2023, published by CPSC Aug 28, 2023

The product, in the report: Commercial Dehumidifier Brand: Seedmax Model:ECO-T130 1.Certification: ETL/CETL certified 2.Power Supply: AC 115V/1PH/60Hz 3.Possibility of Continuous Operation (24h/Day) 4.Dehumidification of 72Pints Per Day at Saturation 5.Works at Temperature Range 35°F - 100°F 6.5-year warranty for Compressor & Condenser/Evaporator Product Dims: 14.4*16.8*23.7 in Color: White and Green

I made a purchase from a Retailer. It was for a Commercial grade dehumidifier. The retailer, as well as the manufacturer, included a 5 year warranty on the equipment in question. I have all supporting documents. The equipment has failed after 1 year and 3 months. This is causing several issues. Because the unit gets so hot (over 200 degrees) we are at great risk of inhaling fumes from refrigeration. It has to be used to protect our gardening business. It is not cooling, which usually means a leak in the system. I have had 2 employees go home, not feeling well. Possibly from a refrigeration leak. Both the retailer and manufacture refuse to respond to my phone calls and emails. I have asked for a replacement. They still do not honor their warranty.
