The product, in the report: Liberty E-333 rechargeable mini-dehumidifier. used in gun safe, closet to remove moisture from air. plug into outlet to dry out/recharge.

while recharging my Liberty E-333 mini-dehumidifier, plugging into 120v outlet, on a power strip it some how ended up face down (plug up) on my workbench. 3-4 days later i unplug it and it is too hot to hold onto. it got so hot it melted and discolored the plastic front. thankfully there was no harm to myself or property.

i know they get WARM. i know they are to be recharged until the color indicator changes. even though i recharged this unit many times without a problem, the last time was not done properly. i contacted the manufacturer with pictures and they said they will look into adding bold warnings.
