The product, in the report: Gree Soleus Air GL-DEH-30-1 Dehumidifier
Gree Soleus Air GL-DEH-30-1 dehumidifier Gets extremely hot Makes entire room hot Sometimes does not pull any water out of the air but runs non stop until I power down Has always made a weird noise which has progressively gotten worse since the purchase date I bought this at Lowe’s I am afraid to leave it on as it now stops blowing air and makes a strange noise as if the motor is somehow locked up and the machine is very hot to the touch. I have turned the machine off several times and all the lights go off, but the machine is still running, I can hear it. It is only when I unplug it that the machine will actually turn off. I am afraid this is going to catch on fire. I have told the children not to plug it back in. I looked up the model Number to contact the manufacturer for help and saw that there is a recall on this model and it has caused excessive house fires. I need a dehumidifier that works for the downstairs of my house as it is damp without a dehumidifier running every day. Please provide me with any information you will that may help me with this situation and product. Thank you.

The product, in the report: Gree brand, white
We bought a gree dehumidifier model # GDN70AI-A3 BB2A. It started to make a weird noise, as if short circuit. We also noticed water leaking (a small pool by the time we saw it) and ice building in the back of it so we stopped using it right away.

The product, in the report: Soleus Air Dehuidifier
I have a Dehumidifer (Soleus Air) brand Model # GL-DEH-70F-2. While it is running the area over the air filter ices up. A good 2 to 3 inches. The unit than runs very hot-too hot to touch. The cce dosn’t melt the unit keeps running. I am afraid of it overheating and starting a fire. ALL THE COMPANY SAYS IS THAT IT IS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. I feel the unit is about to burst into flames. What should I do.
Thank You
