Just bought the Crane Vaporizer, cleaned it and filled it with water. When I tried to plug it in it sparked and blew a circuit. I dumped the water and cleaned it thoroughly per instructions and fill it again. I tried plugging it in a different outlet that has surge protection. Again it sparked a lot and melted the plug.
