  1. Seen by a doctor or nurse

Made Mar 30, 2016, sent to the company Apr 7, 2016, published by CPSC Apr 28, 2016

The product, in the report: Green Tea Lemongrass Fragrance R3 made by Berje and sold by Air Essentials (I will email you the “safety data sheet” that has all the information and warnings.

I walked into the gym. I felt like there was a cloud around me in the air. The air was full of some chemicals. It turned out to be an “aromatherapy” machine that was spraying some fragrance in the air. I got dizzy, had difficulty breathing, got horrible pain in my head, my eyes were burning and I couldn’t breathe. I had to leave. I was sick for some time because of this so got curious and investigated to find out what was in the product.

I managed to get the “top secret proprietary” ingredients of the product. The product contains known carcinogens, 2 ingredients that are in the state of NJ’s Hazardous substance Right to Know list, and includes 16 pages of warnings and hazards including: - causes cancer - causes damage to fetuses in pregnant woman - toxic to the environment/ do not release to the environment - fatal to marine life - do not breathe the vapors, mist or fumes (then why are they putting into a machine to breathe!) - use gloves, mask and protective eyewear - the list goes on for 16 pages like this

Luckily, once my building’s gym saw the ingredients, they promptly turned the machine off and are having the air professionally cleaned. They were horrified as well. Our manager was pregnant breathing in this poison during her pregnancy because she was told it was safe. Not to mention all the other pregnant women in the building.

The reason I am contacting you, is that I have learned that this product is being used nationwide, basically everywhere, including: - Miami International Airport - Lexus and Lincoln car dealerships - Abercrombie and Fitch, Versace. ZGallery, Modani, and many other retailers - Hilton, Hyatt, The Shore Club, The Mondrian, and other hotels - Universal Studios - The Casino at Gulfstream - Carnival Cruise Lines - Disney - any many many more.

The company told me that this is their number one selling fragrance worldwide, and this exact formula, for which I have the ingredients, is being used at all of these places, and more! The formula is Green Tea and Lemongrass by Berje. Berje makes the product, but it is being sold to all of these places by a company called Air Essentials. Air Essentials told me this product is safe and is backed by the IFA (international fragrance association). The IFA sounds like a fake organization to me. It was created by the very people making the carcinogenic product and lying to people saying it is safe. If it is so safe, how come they wont release the ingredients? How come the ingredients contain carcinogens and 16 pages of warnings?

This is the company selling it: http://airesscentials.com/ This is the company making it: http://www.berjeinc.com/

I believe the people selling this carcinogenic and dangerous product may be lying to their customers (listed above), telling them it is safe, and the retailers don’t think twice to ask to see the ingredients, or the company wont release them. Because, once you see the ingredients, it is blatantly obvious they are dangerous, and no one would use it.

I have the ingredients. I will email them to you. It is shocking.

I cannot believe someone is forcing millions of people to breathe in this stuff that makes people sick. This has to stop. Please help. We have the right to breathe clean air. I love the idea of aromatherapy, but there is no reason it has to have carcinogens and other chemicals that people have the right to know about in other states. I believe if I showed these ingredients to anyone about to walk into a place using this stuff, they would not walk in. Also, the people buying it would stop. They are being tricked.

The solution is simple. Outlaw this poison then they can only use real aromatherapy like essential oils to sell.

I hope you can help. It is horrifying to me to think people are unknowingly breathing in carcinogens and pregnant women’s fetuses are being harmed, and they don’t even know it is happening.

Personally, I can’t even walk into any place pumping this poison into the air, because I immediately react to it and can’t breathe. I have been to the emergency room with excruciating pain in my head from products like this, and out of work for weeks.

I look forward to speaking with you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance.
