The product, in the report: Spa Room Spa Mist Ultrasonic Diffuser
I recently bought 2 diffusers off Amazon. It was from [REDACTED] but the company that made them is Spa Room. Shipping was quick, they looked great out of the box, the instructions were clear, etc. When I plugged it in this past weekend (first the unit, then to the wall), THERE WAS A SPARK! I quickly unplugged it, but I did smell a burning smell. I couldn’t tell exactly where it was coming from hoping it wasn’t coming from my wall!! But I assumed it was the unit. This is scary to me because I have a fear of house fires (had a high school friend die in one), so I was pretty scared. This product is not safe!!!! No one got hurt, but it was really quite a scare. I thought you should know about it beyond me just contacting them. I hope no one plugs it in and walks away! What would that spark/hot smell have led to?!
