The product, in the report: Home Humidifier
I emptied my Homasy humidifier in the sink and cleaned it with a vinegar and water solution. I refilled it and plugged it back in. I immediately heard a sizzling sound and a loud pop. The unit began to smoke and I also observed sparks shoot out from the side. It left a black soot mark on a wooden tray and there are black soot marks on the inside of the unit.
